Informs Lewis "Honored Sir I take this opportunity to let you now that I am well and hope that these Lines will find you and your family in the same I would be glad to meet you but I must wait with patience till I am allowed to come home I remember my duty to my mother and love to my sister and all other[?] and so no more at present but I remain your dutiful servant."
