One letter from Edward W. Amsden to his cousin Lill, dated September 8, 1863. He directed his letters to Captain Fyffe, who Captain Reed succeeded. Edward's is the largest company in the regiment, and the 2nd battalion is miles away from the Nashville company. The 25th is at Trenton, Georgia. He also mentions hearing that the country is planning to recruit more.
