Collection of 51 letters, including 24 wardate soldiers' letters, to recipients in Lancaster and York County, Pennsylvania. Written by various individuals, mostly to Isaac Cover (Kover, Coover) and family in Pennsylvania. Most have envelopes. Notable are letters to Isaac Cover from hospitalized Henry Gorman (1864-65) and Henry B. Blecher (Pennsylvania Cavalry) (1864-65). Includes some love letters to Elizabeth Cover (Kover) from Jacob Cupp and other miscellaneous letters, mostly from the 1860s.
