United States Military Telegram sent from the headquarters of the 13th Corps. He corrects Hunt, stating that Hall's battery belongs to the 1st Penn. Regiment. The 13th Corps, comprising the Army of Tennessee, was created 24 October 1862.
Wainwright, Chief of Artillery for the 13th Corps, was later breveted as General. Hunt served as Chief of the Artillery for the Army of the Potomac during the Civil War.
