Summary of Content: Receipt to Samuel Wells, and signed by him. Wells certifies receipt of eleven dollars from Samuel Shaw, Henry Knox's aide-de-camp, "for the expence of going to Bethlehem and bring Genl Knox's Baggage to camp and for having a new Tongue made to the Waggon." Verso contains a list of three officers and a table of figures. Created at "Camp at Valley Forge."
