At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Includes account information from 16 October 1772. Signed on verso by Dyer 19 December 1772, certifying that Flucker paid part of his account, and signed again 20 April 1773 noting that the account is paid in full. Flucker paid Dyer "for work... at the house of the late Isaac Gridley."
