Replies to correspondence from Black, stating, "I should be pleased to deliver an address under the auspices of the Confederate Reunion should my duties and previous engagements permit- would you therefore let me know the date limits- There would be no question of terms, only my expenses- appreciating the compliment you pay me by the invitation..." Written on stationery with "The Circle" letterhead.
