Written as President. Date inferred from contents; one of the letters, to Jim Curtis, was discovered by a previous owner to be dated September 16, 1982. A series of written drafts on yellow paper intended for his secretary. Although the letter to Curtis was "signed" with an autopen, the draft shows Reagan's care in correspondence, even with strangers.
