At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. Nanfan asks for information regarding the construction of the fort at Albany, and gives instructions to stock it with firewood for the winter. He also requestst that Robert Livingston be sent to Albany to expedite a matter in Indian affairs.
