Recommending Mike L. Woods based on the recommendation of Thomas H. Watts. G. M. Adams may be George Madison Adams, 1837-1920, a Congressman from Kentucky. Mounted on paper 29.5 x 20 cm.
Benjamin H. Hill was a Congressman, later Senator, from Georgia. During the Civil War he was a member of the Confederate Congress.
Thomas H. Watts had served previously as Governor of Alabama and the Confederate Attorney General.
Mike L. Woods was the Secretary of the Alabama State Senate.
