Three copies of a photograph of General George H. Thomas. Taken by Brady sometime after 1862. Thomas is wearing a Union army general officer's uniform with shoulder strips indicating his rank as Major General, to which he was promoted on April 25th, 1862. Portrait shows his upper body and he is facing to the left. From the collection of F.H. Meserve, all three pictures are mounted in sequence on new backing material.
