Ten Federal officers stand on the steps of a large building with columns. The men stand in lines descending the steps; the leftmost line is of three men, the next has two, the next four, and the last is of just one man. There is a large flaw on the right side of the image that obscures one man's head. Inscription on verso: "Gardner." Numeric notations on verso: "509" and "XXIV."
