Summary of Content: Comments on a treaty with the Sioux and rights to lands in Nebraska. A note in the margin by Benjamin R. Cowen, Grant's assistant secretary of the interior, identifies Grant's authorship and date. Another unattributed note identifies Cowen. Accompanied by an engraving (see GLC06035.02).
