Discusses the upcoming Friends of Liberty Convention, with Smith, a New York abolitionist. Notes that one object of the Convention is to extend circulation of anti-slavery material to the abolitionists of Madison and Onondaga County, New York. Relates that if Smith addresses the convention, his address should be basic, since many people in Madison and Oneida Counties are not yet familiar with the anti-slavery movement. Comments on other details of the convention. Circa date based on GLC06593.09. Location inferred from content.
