Writes to his wife about working on the roads and discusses the weather. Asks about their daughter. Says that the troops watch movies on Tuesdays and Fridays and have dances on Thursdays. Explains that the French dance differently than the Americans. Encloses a picture of his company (not included). Typed on Knights of Columbus letterhead.
Private Lyons was in the 307th Company, Tank Corps, American Expeditionary Forces and was part of the Polish Collegium.
