Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Sylvia took the car to work and had to visit a Greek Catholic Church and found the priest charming. He acted as a Polish interpreter for her client. Sorry Moe has had bad weather and bad food, and reminds him he will have good food again when he returns home. Sylvia says she will send him more money so he can go out; she doesn't go shopping so much anymore and won't miss it for herself.
