A press release from the United Democrats for Humphrey, which focuses on Humphrey's statements in favor of a Marshall Plan for U.S. cities and of a separate effort to protect civil order and justice. He supports an end to riots, stricter gun control laws, stiffer drug trafficing penalities, organization of "councils of civil peace," and a strengthening of police forces. Finally he calls for more complete, free public education for all students.
