Background Information: Susanne Gail Sabaroff was born 17 April 1944 and grew up in Philadelphia. She attended Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in elementary and kindergarten education and was involved in Hillel. She ...married her college boyfriend, Louis W. Stamps, soon after graduation.
Louis was born 20 May 1943, and also attended Pennsylvania State University. He entered a graduate program in psychology at Bucknell University while Sue was still at Penn State. They later moved to Wisconsin, where Louis practiced psychology and Sue taught.
