Letter and envelope written on Hilton Inn Stationary from Seattle-Tacoma International Aiport. The envelope is addressed to Spokane, WA and "Via Airfare" is written and underlined twice below the black "Jamaica N.Y." postmark. Nellie Joe Whitmore writes to "Dear Davis, Betty, Jack, Mike, Clarice, and Juan." Throughout in her letter she indicates the times "10.41 a.m." "11 a.m." and "5:30 p.m.," the first two being in the plane and the last at her destination in New York. She thanks the recipeints for making her trip pleasant, remarking on personal ancedotes, mentions an aquiantance is on the plane with her, and there is mild turbluence. She talks about how Seattle was relaxing and she often read the news. She uses the pronoun "we," and refers to a traveling companion Jake.
