The letter is addressed to Davis. Nellie writes she went to the American church headquarters and met with senior members of the church. She comments on the hotel conditions and the food, and her schedule is full of conferences and speeches for the next days. She says she filmed 3 rolls for Bets, but it was lost with her stolen case. She asks for eye glass prescription as her glasses were also stolen. She explains Bastille Day and the preparations taking place around the city.
