Summary of Content: One circular letter dated September 20, 1963 addressed to members of the Inter-Citizens Committee. Document mentions the scene at the bombing at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, also includes a list of other attacks committed against the African American community either by policemen or others. Background Information: 16th Street Baptist Church bombing took place on Sunday, September 15, 1963. Four Ku Klux Klan members planted 15 sticks of dynamite which killed four girls and injured 22 people.
