Summary of Content: One wirephoto entitled "Confrontation" taken by Associated Press dated March 9, 1965. Image is of protestors approaching a line of state troopers armed with clubs on a highway. Wire transfer information describes that state troopers blocked the protests outside of Selma, Alabama. There were an estimated 2,000 people who turned back a judge ordered a stop on the march.
