Collection of four items dated 1865 related to Jefferson Davis's capture. Davis is depicted wearing his wife's dress at the moment of the arrest. Frequent characters in the depictions are Union soldiers, Capitol Hill, and his wife, Varina Davis. Commentary on the engravings also exemplify the newspaper's sentiments of Davis's capture as the Confederacy's failure.
