At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

One leaflet containing the entirety of the Mass of Quinquagesima Sunday, dated February, 1949. Includes descriptions of prayers and rituals designed to help the reader follow the Mass more accurately.

Leaflets were printed monthly in weekly parts, with this issue as number three, part four printed for Sunday February 27, 1949. Subscription price was $1.50 per year.
