One handout entitled, "Communications...Step One!" Item is an invitation to a panel discussion at Baces Hall in Hollywood, California dated May 4, 1969. Purpose of meeting was to discuss social attitudes of homosexuality perceived by the church and law. Also to discuss police raids of bars and what the law can do to protect queer people. Guest panelists featured Councilman Paul Lamport, Rev. Alex Smith, a psychiatrist Richard Parlour, a lawyer, Herbert Selwyn and founder of One Inc., W. Dorr Legg.
W. Dorr Legg was one of the founders of the U.S. gay rights movement. He established ONE Inc., a support group for the gay community.
