One letter from Gerald Handy to Mary Lawyer dated February 3, 1968. Handy addresses her as his mother-in-law. He is doing well and thanks her for the care packages she sent. He mentions other family members. He also thanks her for the warning that Donna is making him cookies. He comments that he was under artillery fire in the afternoon and six men were wounded but he is fine.
