One letter from Gerald Handy to Mary Lawyer dated December 19, 1968. Handy addresses her as his mother-in-law. He hasn't received any letters from them and really wants one. He mentions he worked in the mail room last night with another soldier from New York and really likes where he is stationed now. He gets to sleep in a building, hot showers and has access to soda.
