He mentions Donald Durand getting married and notes that everyone seems to be getting married. Terrell Fincher is going home in one hundred days and he is jealous. He also inquires about Bill and Betty Farrow and expresses condolences for Mrs. Daniel. He mentions the christening of two new planes, the first two C-130s on the base.
