One typed manuscript with handwritten notes by Dwight David Eisenhower dated April 10, 1968. Concerns opening negations with North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Mentions the long negotiations during the Korean War as an example of what could not be allowed to happen. He mentions having to maintain the resolve to continue fighting until the outcome the United States wants is met or it would be harder to negotiate a successful ending to the conflict.
