The document is typed by Lt. Col. Hubert D. Barnes to the Adjutant General in Washington, D.C. The document details action against enemy and the after-action report for the month of September. The primary objective was the reduction of the enemy at Brest and the Crozon Peninsula. No casualties directly from enemy fire; however, Private Wesley Pickett was killed from the premature burst of a shell. Once the reduction was completed, they marched from September 28 to September 30 to the Western Front at Plouider, a town north the Western Front at Lesneven. Four officers received decorations.
