Possibly sent from Saint John, New Brunswick by telegraph. Letter written on Western Union Telegraph Company stationery. The message states "Twenty five years old today. all right." Accompanied by three collateral newspaper clippings containing biographical information regarding Israel Manchester Hopkins and Captain J. M. Hopkins.
