One letter from Edward W. Amsden to his cousin Lill, dated April 30, 1864. Edward arrived and formed a V.V. regiment in which the iron veterans are mounted. He misses his former location as there were many ladies' associations who entertained the troops. He mentions his mail and expects to be discharged in June.
