Suggests Frances Perkins for an appointment: "all the ladies of my acquaintance are keen to have you put Miss Frances Perkins into Shientag's job." Shientag is possibly New York attorney Bernard L. Shientag. FDR appointed Perkins Secretary of Labor in 1933 and she served as the first woman cabinet member.
