Informs his sister that he is still sick with a fever. Asks that she "tell Ben for me to Do. Die or never as that is his only hope now." Instructs his sister to tell Ben, possibly their brother, to apply for a discharge soon. Written on stationery with "US Army General Hospital, Newton University, Baltimore" letterhead.
