re: Hartsuff writes to his daughter at boarding school. He reports that nothing has changed in the "situation" with the Indians since his letter of 11/27. There is a group, numbering in the thousands, camped around them on the Agency and professing friendship. There is a more substantial unfriendly group camped thirty miles away.
