Partially printed document from the Consulate of the Republic of Texas in which Bryan, as "Consul for the Republic of Texas, for the port of New Orleans, State of Louisiana" certifies that William Richardson signed an annexed act of sale (not included). An handwritten note at the bottom indicates that this document was "presented for record" in J.H. Griffin's office in April, 1940. One black and white bust engraving of William J. Bryan included.
