One document signed by Abram A. McWillie and William J. Phillips dated November 28, 1860. An agreement to hire nineteen enslaved people for the sum of two thousand dollars with a 12% interest rate. The enslaved people are named in the document "Marion, his wife & 2 children. Charles. Mahola & her three children, Jane, Harriet, Mary & daughter Eliza & her two boys, Aford, Dave. Ann & her infant." The agreement also states that they will provide a blanket, two suits of summer clothes and one of winter clothes, and hats and shoes as needed.
