Resolution of Congress to equalize pay of the troops in the Middle Department with that of those in the Eastern Department. Passed by the Continental Congress in response to George Washington's 8 June 1776 letter stating that Congress had intended such a resolution, but had not yet passed it.

In Congress June 10.th 1776

Resolved, That the Pay of the Continental Troops in the middle Department be henceforth the Same as that of the Troops in the Eastern Departments ----
