Summary of Content: Davis signs as Quarter Master General. Possibly based on the order of George Todd, whose name is included. Directed to Sam Gore. Requests "to deliver to Colo Arms or Bearer, 2 Standards for 2 Battalions of Cavalry in the 2 Brigade, 4 Division, in the Militia of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts." Docket indicates that the standards were received 20 September 1819.
