My dear Brother,
I fear I shall not be so good a correspondent or rather that I shall not write so often as formerly. I find now so much more to occupy me. I left the children playing with her in the parlor and take up to write you just a line. I have not heard a word from you since you set out for Hartfort. I long to learn all about your visit and hear everything that was interesting to you & Mrs. Black denies very particular ? to you and says she does not find any one that she likes half so well as your noble self! What do you think of that?
This day is much the ? we have had it is ? ? ? for our part of the country. I think you must have it very soon.
Edward is quite well again. I'm most happy to say. We have not moved again beyond Baltimore, what a ? need and ? set of drivers. We hear that the stagecoach was upset between this & 13th day with Judge Story in and others the ? ? his leg break for which I cannot feel sorry. A gentleman in the parlor. ? for the present. It was Mr. Ogden of N. York a good northern gentleman and as big as a giant Julia says. Which is pretty ?. I feel quite lost without our little room. But we shall be better when we get used to the deprivation.
Mr. Ogden says the driver was not in fault that they were accidentally ? against by a wagon ? of the passengers were injured. They crawled out of the windows while the horses lay still. I hear the source of Judge Story's ? ? at ? & ? you leaving ?
