Discusses a visit by Bishop Clarkson, missionary appointments, and his upcoming ordination. Discusses his wedding, attended by over 150 whites and Indians. Notes that Mr. Hinman gave him charge of the Santee mission starting in summer, but he will not start until fall when his replacement will arrive.
