Discusses provisions for a team of bargemen that he has recently dismissed and requests that a Elisha Davis be sent back to him once the muster is over as Davis was very helpful.

The Bargemen which have been employ'd by me for sometime past are dismissed from that service, and will deliver this - I send them off this day, that they may be ready for muster and inspection - John Cheney has drawn provision to the end of the present month - [inserted: for] the rest, their provision to be drawn with you, should commence this day - As I have no Waggoner, and Elisha Davis, has for a fortnight or three weeks past taken care of my Waggon horses &c - I shall be obliged to you to return him to me, as soon as the muster is over, to continue until the Q M Genl. provides Waggoners for the Army with much regard, and Esteem, I am Dear Sir
