Secretarially written and signed by Robert Pemberton, Knox's post-war aide. Document includes two parts. Jackson attests that he received seven certificates (listed) worth a total of $13,752 from Henry Knox for safekeeping. On verso is a note from Henry Knox to Jackson asking Jackson to forward the certificates to his brother, William Knox.
