References a letter from Peirce but does not provide a date. Encloses a summary of his accounts as Peirce requested. Gives what information he can, but says his papers are divided between the town and the country. Claims he took no receipts of Harrison Gray Otis or Mr. Sherburne (John Samuel Sherburne of New Hampshire). Makes reference to taxes and charges owed by Mr. Copeland, Isaac Winslow, and Captain [Thomas] Vose. Tells Peirce the ten proprietors must be satisfied. Hopes the information he has given will help him settle his accounts. Tells him he can get more vouchers if necessary. Hopes "that the dividend be made immediately and also that the deeds be completed." Docketed by Knox. Date taken from docket. Place not listed, however, another letter (GLC02437.05077) written on the same day places Knox in Philadelphia.
