Titled and docketed as "Objects of the memorial of the Cornplanter." Lists nine points addressed by the Cornplanter (a Seneca chief) in his memorial. The issues pertain primarily to land disputes and claims to having been cheated.

This appears to be an early draft of part of Knox’s 27 December 1790 report to [George] Washington regarding the Cornplanter’s recent address. The Seneca chief had met with the president on 1 December 1790 and delivered a written address discussing a series of complaints the Seneca wished to resolve with the Americans. Washington’s secretary, Tobias Lear, forwarded a copy of the address to Knox on 24 December with the president’s request for his response. Knox replied three days later. (The sent copy of Knox’s final report is in the George Washington Papers at the Library of Congress.)
