There is "no further employ" for James Arden, a mason sent up from New York by Peter T. Curtenius "by Order of the Provincial Congress of New York." Therefore he is discharged, by order of General Montgomery. Written at "Head Quarters" Signed by Macpherson as Aide de Camp.
