Writes to Colonel Clary, Chief of Quartermasters of Army of Virginia, to request tents, stoves, axes, and tubs for hospitals. Mentions a deficiency of ambulances. Notes that the "necessity of keeping the sick of our Army, as near the army lines as may be proper, will necessitate ampler means of accomodation to be held in readiness ..."
