More than 70,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World to soldiers’ letters from World War II and Vietnam. Invoice for merchandise including dishes, textiles, and clothing. On p.4 there begins a second invoice of the same date for "Two Trunks and Four Bales of Merchandise" including feather caps, animal skins, and fabrics.
