This image shows the dead horses of the 9th Massachusetts Artillery after the battle at Trostle's farm in Gettysburg. In the background is Abraham Trostle's barn. Numeric notation on recto: "300" and "266." Inscription on verso: "In Trossel's [sic] barnyard, Gettysburg." Numeric notation on verso: "300" "132" and "126."
