Nancy's grandmother writes that the weather has been cool. Her grandmother writes that she sees "the boys" although has not heard from Edna or Tillie (Te Te). She also mentions Hattie, Nancy's father, and Bobby. Nancy's grandmother tells Nancy she is going to hem her dress and make some fudge for her over the weekend. She signs her letter, "Grandma & Grandpa," and writes that she misses the milk shakes.
